I offer private music tuition to adolescents and adults in two formats: one-to-one music lessons and group lessons (occasionally). While I specialise in jazz tuition (teaching jazz piano, saxophone, trumpet/flugelhorn, guitar, bass, drums and voice/singing, including jazz "scat" singing), I also have students focused on the western classical, rock and pop music genres.
One-to-one, I teach adolescents and adults, from beginner to advanced levels, on most conventional instruments. I also have taught music students with severe learning disabilities. Since gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in secondary music education (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5), I do classroom teaching as well. I also have other teaching qualifications.
