Whether you are a novice or an expert, my company 'All instrumentalists & Singers (Music Tuition by Claude Alexander)' does private one-to-one music tuition at my own home and can also teach remotely from ages 16 and above. My lessons are structured to meet your capabilities and you can progress at the speed that is best suited for you.
PIANO LESSONS
When you sign up for my Piano Lessons, you can be assured of plenty of individual attention and focus. The piano is a fantastic instrument to learn. With a long history and popular in many genres of music. Each lesson involves an element of learning and theory, but the majority of the time is devoted to putting that theory into practice. VOICE LESSONS
I design each lesson I offer according to my students’ abilities and make the necessary changes once I become more familiar with their needs. My unique approach for singers helps build their stand-alone confidence (i.e. so there’s no dependence on singing in unison with a piano). While this can include vocal improvising ('scat' singing), 'vocalese' and lyric writing, the approach is based on classic routines for developing vocal and general musicianship.
WOODWIND INSTRUMENT LESSONS
I can also teach the Saxophone and Flute which are classed as woodwind instruments. With structured lessons you will steadily progress through the learning of your instrument. There are many different size saxophones ranging in size and pitch, the most common being the alto saxophone and the tenor saxophone. The saxophone is more common within jazz music whereas the flute is more popular with classical music. If you are interested in learning one of these, please do not hesitate to reach out.
BRASS INSTRUMENT LESSONS
The trumpet is a principal instrument of jazz. Although I teach within most commercial music genres, my speciality is in jazz. I also teach other brass instruments such as the flugelhorn. Within my lessons I will help you deliver melodies of all sorts of different styles.

HOME AND REMOTE TUITION
I live in Leytonstone, London and can teach from my own home which is a 5 minute walk from the Central Line's Leytonstone Station. Or if you would prefer to drive, the parking is free on the street.
